** If you are looking for a collaborative, dynamic, physician-led practice environment where you can learn, grow, and excel in providing integrated, multidisciplinary, patient centered care, then Summit Health is the place to be! We are seeking a licensed
** Advanced Nurse Practitioner*
* ** or Physician Assistant
** to work collaboratively with our
** Urgent Care Department
** in a
** Per Diem role*
* ** Requirements include:*
* * Current NY/CT State License
* Board Certification
* 2+ years of related experience preferred
* Solid decision-making, analytical, time-management, and communication skills
* Experience in treating both pediatric and adult populations

* Responsibilities include:

*
* * Identifying chief complaints/issues
* Obtaining detailed and accurate patient histories
* Performing physical exams
* Performing procedures including (but not limited to) suturing, splinting and abscess draining
* Interpreting diagnostic and other test results (e.g. EKGs, X-Rays, Lab Work)
* Communicating and educating patients
* Formulating treatment plans and arranging follow-up care as needed

** Compensation Range: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
*** The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, individual performance, quality measures and location of position.
