Salary:

• Associate-Level Licensed: $45,833–$51,562
  (LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT)
• Independently Licensed: $54,166–$60,937
  (LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)

Position Summary
The School-Based Therapist provides therapeutic services to students and maintains an assigned caseload while working collaboratively with school personnel, families, and other behavioral health professionals. The therapist is responsible for providing quality mental health services and maintaining accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and applicable licensing requirements.

Education & Licensure Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
, with appropriate licensure or licensure in process. Licensed professionals may include LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT, LPP, LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.

Registered Nurses may also be considered if they possess Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Employees must comply with all supervision and continuing education requirements established by their respective licensing board.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain an assigned caseload of students/consumers and provide appropriate therapeutic services.
• Complete and maintain accurate, current, and confidential clinical records.
• Complete required assessments and documentation, including:
  • Diagnostic Screening Assessment
  • Initial and annual Health Assessments
  • Initial and annual Bio-Psychosocial Assessments
  • Treatment Plans
  • Treatment/Service Plan Reviews
  • Continuing Care documentation
  • Termination Summaries
• Participate in regularly scheduled staffings, case conferences, and clinical consultations.
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, agency staff, and other service providers as appropriate.
• Provide services in accordance with applicable professional standards, agency policies, and licensing requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as outlined in the current job description.

Skills & Qualifications

• One year of experience working with individuals with mental health needs is preferred but not required
  .
• Knowledge of behavioral health and therapeutic practices.
• Ability to provide therapeutic services to individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable regulations and professional standards.
