As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will support emergency department or urgent care by performing basic emergency medical procedures as directed.
- Under supervision, assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions.
- You will perform assessment of vital signs, thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, application of simple dressings and splints, stool and urine collection.
- You may transport patients and/or provide coverage for the unit secretary.
