Client Care Specialist​/Receptionist

Do you love cats? Our busy, feline-only practice in Reston, VA is seeking a dependable, compassionate Client Care Specialist / Receptionist to join our front desk team. As the first voice and face our clients and feline patients encounter, you set the tone for an exceptional, low-stress veterinary experience.

• Client Hospitality: Greet clients and their feline companions warmly upon arrival; facilitate smooth check-ins and check-outs.
• Communications: Manage multi-line phone calls, respond to client emails, and coordinate appointment scheduling.
• Administrative Flow: Process payments, update electronic medical records, and triage urgent inquiries for medical staff.
• Coordination: Coordinate prescription refill requests and relay veterinarian messages to clients accurately.
• Lobby Environment: Maintain a serene, clean, and organized feline-only lobby and reception area.

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week.
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

  Urgent care shifts available on weekends for higher differential pay.
• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour (with opportunities for higher pay on urgent care weekend shifts).

• Minimum 1 year of veterinary practice experience required.

• Comfortable handling and interacting around cats of diverse temperaments.
• Commuting or relocating to Reston, VA 20190 prior to start date.
