Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client, the hospitality and digital services industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of the Digital Support team supporting the testing and integration of point of sale and kitchen display systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong curiosity for understanding system operations, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Louisville, KY - Hybrid 3x a week

• Perform manual, user-interaction testing on POS and KDS systems to ensure seamless operation and integration.
• Validate data flow from digital orders through various integrated systems to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Participate in integration testing and troubleshooting across multiple teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Support tasks including ticketing, escalation handling, and maintaining test devices and builds in the Louisville lab.
• Collaborate closely with QA, Product Owner, and Digital teams to improve system performance and user experience.

• Experience with manual testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong curiosity and ability to understand how complex systems work.
• Experience in the retail or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is preferred.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
