Transitional Technologies, established in 2003, is hiring a Service Desk Technician to support and interact with clients through proactive network management and services. We seek a team player who is well-rounded and dedicated.

Located in Louisville, KY, we serve clients in the Louisville Metro area. Most work is remote, reducing travel unless necessary.

Role Description: The Service Desk requires drive and determination to support our clients. We seek a problem-solver with a proven team track record, capable of resolving challenging user issues and leveraging technical training to improve skills.

Our responsibilities include maintaining user uptime, enhancing user experiences through remote monitoring and support, and providing exceptional customer service. Candidates should be energetic, focused, eager to learn new technologies, and committed to excellent customer service.

Key duties involve using remote management tools, handling support tickets, collaborating with staff and vendors, and participating in training and certification. Building relationships with users and vendors and preparing reports are also essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience/certifications.
  • At least three years of technical support experience, preferably in SMB markets.
  • Knowledge of PSA and RMM tools.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.
  • Passion for teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service.
  • Organized, dependable, flexible, and well-spoken.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • A great sense of humor and ability to have fun.
  • Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical triage on inbound requests.
  • Stage computer equipment for deployment.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.
  • Adapt quickly to changing requirements and enjoy challenges.
  • Manage ongoing projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Troubleshoot network and equipment issues remotely.
  • Obtain multiple vendor certifications within 90 days.
  • Analyze remote monitoring reports to identify issues.
  • Support and maintain client networks, equipment, and software.
