We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Network Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in Tier-1support and extensive experience in virtualization,cloud-native technologies, VNF/CNF deployments, and network automation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking principles and a proven track record of developing and implementing Python-based automation solutions for deployment, configuration, and network management.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement Python scripts for automating network deployment, configuration, and management tasks.
- Deploy and manage Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) and Cloud Native Functions (CNFs) in virtualized andcloud-native environments.
- Provide Tier-1 support for network infrastructure,troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
- Develop and maintain network automation frameworks toimprove efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and scalable network solutions.
- Document network automation processes, procedures, andconfigurations.
- Stay up-to‑date with the latest advancements in virtualization, cloud-native technologies, and network automation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of network infrastructure and automation processes.
- Experience in network engineering and automation. Strong proficiency in Python scripting for network automation. Extensive experience with virtualization andcloud-native technologies (e.g., VMware, Open Stack,Kubernetes). Proven experience in deploying and managingVNFs/CNFs. Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching).
Experience with network automation tools and frameworks(e.g., Ansible, Netmiko). Proven Tier-1 support experience. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently andas part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with specific network automation platforms or tools. Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Networking). Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Extensive experience with virtualization and cloud-native technologies (e.g., VMware, Open Stack, Kubernetes).
