Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations
Trakt System is the intelligent layer that makes an airline's existing systems smarter. It connects to more than 50 MRO and enterprise platforms that operators already run, including AMOS, TRAX, SAP, IBM Maximo, Airbus Skywise, and Boeing AnalytX, enriches their data with industry-leading AI predictions, and delivers actionable insight back into their workflow, all with zero infrastructure changes and deployment in as little as 4 to 12 weeks.
It does this while holding an uncompromising security posture: enterprise-grade encryption, government cloud hosting, and privacy-preserving federated learning that lets operators benefit from cross-fleet intelligence without ever sharing proprietary data.
As an AI Platform Engineer, you will own the engineering that makes those promises real: the high-volume pipelines ingesting flight telemetry and maintenance data from live fleets, the integrations connecting Trakt to the world's major MRO and ERP systems, the developer platform and official client libraries that let customer engineering teams go from access to live fleet predictions in minutes, and the automation that keeps the AI models continuously learning.
This is a role for an engineer who takes pride in infrastructure that customers never have to think about because it simply works.
Due to US government contract and export control requirements, applicants must be US citizens.
- Build and harden high-throughput data pipelines ingesting flight telemetry, sensor readings, maintenance records, pilot reports, and weather data from live fleets
- Develop and maintain bidirectional integrations with leading MRO, ERP, and OEM platforms including AMOS, TRAX, SAP, Maximo, Skywise, and AnalytX
- Own the Trakt developer platform, keeping the API and official client libraries polished, resilient, and effortless for customer teams to adopt
- Maintain airtight multi-tenant data isolation so every operator's data remains exclusively theirs
- Operate and improve the privacy-preserving federated learning infrastructure that powers cross-fleet intelligence
- Automate the retraining pipelines that keep the AI models continuously improving from real-world outcomes
- Uphold the platform's security and compliance posture across encryption, government cloud, and data protection requirements
- Support customer onboarding and keep the 4-to-12-week deployment promise, troubleshooting integration health and data flow end to end
- US citizenship (required for government contract and export control compliance)
- 4+ years in backend, data, or ML platform engineering
- Experience building high-throughput data pipelines and production APIs at scale
- Track record integrating with third-party enterprise systems and delivering reliable data exchange
- Experience building or maintaining developer-facing platforms, APIs, or client libraries
- Solid grasp of multi-tenant architecture, authentication, and API security best practices
- Experience with cloud infrastructure; government cloud exposure a plus
- Aviation MRO domain knowledge (AMOS, TRAX, Maximo, or similar) is a strong plus
