** About our Team
** The Database Administration team provides enterprise-wide support for mission-critical database platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational stability. The team manages MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and cloud database technologies across hybrid environments while driving automation, observability, disaster recovery readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and Dev Ops teams, DBAs play a key role in delivering resilient and scalable data services that power business-critical applications.

** About the Role
** We are seeking candidates with deep production support experience in MySQL replication, database reliability engineering, and cloud-based database platforms.

Experience with Azure, AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB is highly desirable. The ideal candidate combines traditional database administration expertise with modern Dev Ops, SRE, automation, and cloud engineering capabilities and is passionate about building highly reliable, scalable, secure, and automated database platforms.  
** Responsibilities
* ** Manage and optimize MySQL databases in large-scale production environments.
* Design and support highly available, disaster recovery, and multi-region database architectures.
* Perform database upgrades, patching, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
* Build automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and scripting tools.
* Support cloud-hosted databases in Azure and AWS environments.
* Implement monitoring, observability, incident response, and root cause analysis processes.
* Partner with engineering teams to improve database reliability, CI/CD, and cloud modernization initiatives.
* Participate in on-call rotations and production support.  
** Requirements
* ** Experience as a MySQL DBA, Database Engineer, or Reliability Engineer.
* Expertise in MySQL replication, HA/DR architectures, backup/recovery, security, and performance tuning.
* Experience supporting cloud database platforms in Azure and/or AWS.
* Strong automation skills using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
* Experience with Git Hub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops practices.
* Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Azure Monitor, or Cloud Watch.
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or Oracle is beneficial.
* Knowledge of SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, incident management, and post-mortems.
* Experience with cloud modernization, platform engineering, and self-service automation.
* Familiarity with AI-assisted operations and engineering productivity tools.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

Base Pay Range for CO is $95,300 - $158,800. Base Pay Range for IL is $100,100 - $166,800. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $104,800 - $174,700. Base Pay Range for MD is $100,100 - $166,800. Base Pay Range for NY is $104,800 - $174,700. Base Pay Range for New York City is $114,300 - $190,500. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $95,300 - $158,800.

Base Pay Range for OH is $90,500 - $150,900. Base Pay Range for NJ is $112,574- $179,826.This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
