Job Summary:TheEHRStability
Analystplaysavitalroleinensuringthesuccessfuldeployment,adoption,andcontinuousimprovementofthe
Virginia Department of Health ’sElectronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Thisrolesupports Local Health Districtendusers ,evaluatesworkflowneeds,documentsenhancementopportunities,andpartnerswithtechnicalteams,business stakeholders,andvendororganizationstoensuretheEHRalignswithoperationalandclinicalrequirements.
Theanalystwillalsocontributetointerimsolutiondevelopmentandhelpdefinestrategiesforlong-termsystemimprovements.
-MonitorandmaintainkeyEHRworkflows,processes,and procedures.
-Engagewithstakeholderstounderstandoperationalneeds,evaluatecurrentEHRcapabilities,identify gaps,andrecommendeffectivealternativesolutions.
-Gather,analyze,anddocumentbusinessrequirementsforsystemenhancements.
-Developuserstories,acceptance criteria,andother
Agiledocumentationasneeded.
-Collaborateeffectivelywithcross-functional technical,clinical,andbusinessteams.
-Produceclearuserdocumentation,jobaids,andtrainingmaterials.
Required Skills&Experience:
-Experienceprovidingapplicationsupport,preferablyinhealthcareenvironments.
-Excellent analytical,communication,and problem-solving abilities.
-Experienceparticipatinginstructuredtestingcycles.
-ProficiencywithMSOffice,Microsoft Teams,SharePoint,and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications:-ExperiencesupportingorimplementingEHRsystems.
-ExperiencewithSQL,Oracle databases,orwebapplicationenvironments.
-Familiarity with Agilemethodologiesanddocumentationpractices.
