Overview
Seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to improve system reliability, solve complex problems, and build and automate CI/CD pipelines. This role drives Dev Ops best practices, reduces manual processes, and improves production readiness through collaboration across development, operations, and product teams.
- Support the full service lifecycle, from design and deployment through production operations and continuous improvement.
- Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, and overall health.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system resiliency.
- Implement automation, operational standards, and risk mitigation practices.
- Support release management, code promotion, and deployments across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to improve reliability and customer experience.
- Participate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with scripting, software design, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including Git/Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Artifactory.
- Proven experience with Chef recipes, cookbooks, and automated deployment processes.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD workflows that minimize manual effort.
- Programming experience in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, C/C++, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
