- CMI (NBCMI), CHI or CoreCHI (CCHI), or equivalent (medical specialty)
- Willingness to work on-site in the Rochester area and/or via VRI
Lingfaro dispatches sessions in Rochester and the surrounding Olmsted County region. Mayo Clinic and its affiliated facilities generate significant interpreter demand, particularly in medical and healthcare settings. Spanish, Somali, and Arabic are the most consistently requested languages here, with strong and growing demand in Karen and Amharic.
What you’ll do
Accept offer-based assignments in Rochester-area healthcare, legal, and social-service settings. Sessions are dispatched through the Lingfaro app: you see the details, rate, and location before you accept.
What we’re looking for
- Professional interpreters fluent in any language spoken in southeastern Minnesota
- Current MDH Spoken Language Health Care Interpreter Roster listing (required for medical) or CMI/CHI equivalent
- Reliable transportation for on-site sessions in the Rochester metro
- Smartphone for check-in and offer management
