A leading international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking Associate to Counsel-level attorneys to join its Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure Finance practice in New York or Washington, D.C. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a highly regarded, market-leading group that advises on some of the world’s most complex and high-profile project finance and infrastructure transactions across the energy, natural resources, and private capital sectors.
CandidateProfile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
. - Active Bar Admission in New York or Washington, D.C., in good standing.
- 2+ years of substantive experience in finance-related transactional work
- Experience in project finance, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and/or private equity transactions strongly preferred
- Exposure to domestic and cross-border financings
, including acquisition and development financings - Prior experience at a top-tier U.S. or international law firm preferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex transactions in a fast-paced environment The ideal candidate manages client relationships with ease.
- Advise sponsors, lenders, investors, and developers on project finance and infrastructure transactions
- Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary financing documentation
- Support transactions across the energy, power, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors
, including renewables - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale domestic and international matters
- Manage transactional workflows from diligence through closing
