Operations Buyer; Fountain Valley, CA or land

This role will be based in either our Fountain Valley, CA or Loveland, Colorado hubs. We are not providing relocation at this time. The target hourly pay for this position is $28 - $35 per hour. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

The primary responsibility of the Operations Buyer is to procure all materials and supplies in support of assigned Locations.

• Support and Assist assigned locations with all procurement processes within the ERP procurement system.
• Communicate immediately with the Procurement Operations Manager on any issue (i.e.: pricing, delivery, quality, backorder, discontinuation etc.) that will have multi/cross location impact or effect.
• Review each location’s requisitions requirements via the ERP Procurement system to assure correct supplier, pricing, and quantity for the location, based upon past ordering patterns. Pricing should be checked for changes and accuracy alignment with current supplier agreements or supplier pricing updates.
• Achieve lowest cost and required need dates.
• Communication and order confirmation of the purchase orders (PO) to supplier with two business days always with the goal of meeting the Location required need date.
• Ensure receipt of supplier confirmation for all POs. Resolve any supplier issues pertaining to pricing or delivery, based upon supplier’s confirmation. Issues resolved prior to shipment of product.
• Keep the locations informed of any deviations to their stated requirements.
• Follow up with supplier on any past due orders and communicate the updated delivery information to the locations.
• Resolve any invoice disputes and issues as presented by Antech Accounting, in a timely fashion including documenting the resolution in Accounts Payable database.
• Ensure that any changes in documented pricing presented to the Procurement Operations Manager with backup justification for the change.
• Assist locations with any procurement-related issues they have in a timely and courteous manner.
• Ensure proper and timely filing/storage of PO and confirmation paperwork as required by Antech Management.
• Ensure that data integrity is accurate and as required per department policies and procedures, Manufacturer, Mfg. #, UOM, UOM conversion factor, Classification, price, lead time, location(s) requiring the item, etc.
• May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 1-year experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.

• Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency with ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. Smartsheets and Power BI.
