Position Summary

The Supplies Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily supply operations and ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient coordination of inventory, ordering, shipment tracking, and provider support. This role serves as the primary operational resource for Supply Coordinators, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and process oversight to maintain smooth department operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily supply operations to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and service standards.

  • Monitor and coordinate supply orders, inventory levels, shipments, and returns to support provider and organizational needs.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Supply Coordinators by answering questions, providing guidance, and resolving operational issues.

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all department workflows, policies, and procedures.

  • Train, mentor, and support team members to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in developing and implementing workflow enhancements.

  • Ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and maintenance of supply-related records, reports, and operational trackers.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and providers to resolve supply-related concerns and ensure timely fulfillment of requests.

  • Monitor team performance and workflow completion to ensure adherence to department expectations and turnaround times.

  • Assist leadership with special projects, reporting, and operational initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Knowledge of inventory,logistics, or healthcare supply operations preferred.

  • Ability to train and support team members while promoting accountability and teamwork.

Experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in logistics

  • Medical supply coordination a plus

  • Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm $22/hr
