We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the position of:

JOB SUMMARYThe Cargo M&E Coordinator (MIA) will be based in Miami and will report to the Manager, Cargo North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that materials held in inventory are made available to the relevant areas of the operation. The Cargo M&E Coordinator (MIA) will maintain a daily log of all components issued for control purposes and ensure the reconciliation of unserviceable items in accordance with established procedures and requirements.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and components to support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, including outside of normal working hours as necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate the preparation and shipment of serviceable and unserviceable aircraft parts, mandatory commercial stores, and any other relevant and applicable items as assigned, ensuring that such items are prepared and delivered to the Airport Operations for onward transportation to the relevant stations.
This is a fixed-term (contract) position. The duration of the contract is two (2) years.
KEY DELIVERABLES- Directs the receipt, storage, issuance, delivery, and dispatch of components and materials in accordance with prescribed procedures.
- Issues, packages, and arranges shipment of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Spares and Critical Components, mandatory stores requirements, and other material and items as assigned and required by stations.
- Ensures daily updates of the Inventory Information System with all transaction occurrences.
- Reports irregularities, stock shortages, and discrepancies in keeping with prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Monitors expired items to be removed from stock and ensures that all items beyond economic repair are disposed of in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures.
- Prepares monthly reports on all inventory issues and receipts.
You must have a minimum of five (5) CXC/GCE Ordinary Level passes, including Mathematics and English, or possess a U.S. High School Diploma. You are required to have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in stock control, preferably within an airline materials environment. You must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
You must also have knowledge of and/or experience in the use of the Materials Management (MM) Inventory Module in SAP Application Software. Possession of Inventory and/or Supply Management qualifications will be considered an asset.
You will be employed on a shift basis. Each working week will comprise various shifts in accordance with the rotational requirements of the Department and the operational needs of the business, as approved by the Company’s duly authorised Manager.
The successful candidate must be legally authorised to work in the United States of America.
The successful applicant will be subject to pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing, as well as a comprehensive criminal, security and background check (as required)
