Buying responsibilities include sourcing, creating purchase orders, follow-up and confirmation, and expediting deliveries. Planning responsibilities include MRP evaluation, creating purchase requisitions, and troubleshooting planning parameters to provide an optimal situation for managing stock inventories.

* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* * Service existing accounts.
* Responsible for the processes as well as administrative and operations functions.
* Interact with both customers and vendors to complete sales orders and follow them through the invoicing process.
* Provide technical sales support and product consulting to customers.
* Cultivate and grow customer base.
* Perform warehouse and/or driver duties, when required and other duties assigned.

* JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*
* * High School diploma and/or equivalent.
* Extensive mill tool knowledge REQUIRED
* Experience with PVF and MRO supplies a Plus
* Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
* Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
* Written and oral communication skills, both internal and external.
* Excellent Customer Service skills
* Computer (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word) and SAP skills.
* Work closely with other departments or business units.
* Analytical skills, objectivity and organizational skills.
* Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment.
