Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming will be a newly constructed facility in a high-traffic area in Calvert City, Kentucky at the intersection of I-69 and I-24. The Property will feature nearly 240 state-of-the-art historical racing machines (“HRMs”), a sports bar and a retail sports book, simulcast wagering, and food and beverage offerings. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for leading the successful overall direction, administration, and coordination of all operating activities of Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming including Pre-opening activities, culture creation, staffing, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and the ongoing operations of historical racing machine operations, gaming operations, simulcast operations, sports book operations, and entertainment operations.
JOB SUMMARYThe Cage Supervisor is the senior on-shift leader for all Cage, Player Services, Sports Wagering, Vault, and Drop operations. This hands-on role combines active guest interaction and shift leadership with strategic responsibilities including SOP development, compliance oversight, budgeting, and staff development. Reporting directly to the Cage Operations Manager, the Cage Supervisor manages Main Bankers, Cash Operations Attendants, and the Count Room Lead, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant cash-handling operations while delivering exceptional guest service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead all Cage, Player Services, Sports Wagering, Vault, and Drop operations during assigned shifts.
- Maintain a visible, hands-on presence to support team members, interact with guests, and monitor service quality.
- Provide exceptional guest service, resolving escalated concerns and disputes promptly.
- Oversee vault operations, ensuring accurate control of bankrolls, secure handling of funds, and proper maintenance of NRT cassette inventory.
- Direct and ensure compliance in all drop processes, including collection, transportation, counting, and reconciliation of assets.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate Main Bankers, Cash Operations Attendants, and the Count Room Lead, ensuring alignment with operational standards and goals.
- Monitor staffing levels, approve schedule changes, and assign responsibilities to meet operational and budgetary needs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and all gaming regulations, including BSA/AML/Title 31 requirements.
- Lead recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and training for cage operations positions.
- Review operational performance, identify efficiencies, and recommend service and process improvements.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor departmental expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Collaborate with the Cage Operations Manager on SOP creation, revision, and enforcement.
- Process and approve payroll entries, corrections, and related staffing documentation.
- Communicate operational updates, promotions, and procedural changes to the team.
- Serve as the on-duty managerial representative, coordinating with other departments to support property-wide operations.
- Enforce safety standards, promote injury prevention, and maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Cage Operations Manager.

- Proficient in analyzing operational and financial data to support decision-making.
- Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
- Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.
- Must be willing to be on-call during low staffing situations.
- Must be willing to work in all Cage & Cash Operations areas during low staffing situations, to include occasionally pushing a cart that can weigh up to 100lbs.
