Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations (accidents, near misses) to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Manage hazardous waste programs, including storage, disposal, and record-keeping, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor EHS performance metrics, prepare reports, and communicate results to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Strong experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CIH) preferred.
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with enterprise EHS management software (e.g., Intelex, Gensuite, SAP EHS).
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
- Experience developing and implementing sustainability or ESG initiatives.
