Maintenance Manager

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Maintenance Manager to work at our Levy Brandenburg Mill Service location in Brandenburg, KY
. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the maintenance program for mobile equipment, plants, and facilities.

• Supports safety and environmental initiatives including employee safety engagement, regulatory compliance, and related training
• Develops, trains and facilitates a team of equipment and plant maintenance personnel
• Coordinates teams to identify process improvements and to develop and document maintenance procedures
• Ensures compliance with the preventive maintenance program
• Cultivates relationships with steel mill personnel, vendors and other management personnel
• Develops maintenance systems and processes
• Develops and monitors the Maintenance Department’s budget and business plan
• Responsible for developing, assessing and meeting KPIs
• Runs KPI reports, analyzes data and utilizes information for better decision‑making
• Acts as project manager for significant repair, rebuild or installation activities
• Evaluates feasibility of capital expenditures
• Audits processes and inspects work as necessary
• Provides reporting and record‑keeping as required
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned by manager

• Some college or degree preferred
• Minimum of ten years of maintenance experience in industrial or construction environment
• Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and ability to implement related programs and controls
• Ability to train, support and coordinate maintenance personnel
• Ability to understand and use financial data for decision making
• Management experience
• Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Valid driver’s license
