Job Summary
Responsible for overall planning, organization, and direction of the operational areas of El Paso Health as assigned by the President and CEO. Reports operational related data to internal, as well as external, organizations and agencies, including the El Paso Health Plan’s Board of Directors, the El Paso County Hospital District Board of Managers, and the El Paso County Commissioner’s Court, as required.

Designated as the temporary successor to the President and CEO in the event of a planned or unplanned absence of the President and CEO.

Work Experience
Ten years of experience in a supervisory/management capacity is required. Strong progressive healthcare operations experience with an aptitude for building cross-functional collaboration within organizations, nurturing emerging talent, leading teams through enterprise transformations, developing and driving organizational goals is highly preferred. Experience in a managed care or healthcare insurance environment, preferably in Medicaid or Medicare, a plus.

Education and Training
Master degree in Business Administration or Healthcare related field is required.
