District Manager, Management

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven District Manager to lead operational excellence and drive strategic growth across multiple retail locations within the Market Place Group of Stores.

In this role, you will oversee and develop a team of Store Managers, champion best practices, and create a high-performance culture focused on delivering exceptional customer service experiences and achieving business objectives. You will combine strong leadership, commercial insight, and data-driven decision-making to maximize sales performance and operational efficiency within the stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company goals, to drive revenue growth, market share and profitability.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and inspire Store Managers across multiple locations, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Analyze sales results, operational metrics and other performance data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities for growth.
• Establish and implement training and development initiatives that strengthen team capabilities and enhance customer engagement.
• Ensure consistent compliance with company policies, procedures, operational standards and safety requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Supply Chain, to drive promotional activities and inventory management.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess operational efficiency, customer service quality, and merchandising standards.

Minimum Qualifications and

Experience:

• 5+ years of store management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales performance and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Experience in a multi-unit retail environment, ideally within a fast-paced industry.
• Proficiency in retail management software and tools.

• Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools to drive performance improvements.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology.
