DEPUTY DIRECTOR/ EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Housing Authority of Cynthiana
The Housing Authority of Cynthiana seeks a full-time Deputy Director/Executive Director to lead operations, staff, finances, and HUD compliance for an agency overseeing 265 housing units and 203 Section 8 units. The position reports to the Board of Commissioners.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, finance, urban planning, housing, or a related field; 5–10 years of progressively responsible management/supervisory experience; and a valid driver’s license. Strong leadership, financial management, and HUD program knowledge required. Public housing or government experience preferred.

Cynthiana Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program – Section
8. These programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There may be waiting lists for rentals or vouchers and at times the lists may close to new applicants based on the size of and length of wait on the lists.
