Production Manager, Operations Engineer
At Cisaplast USA, the Production Planner plays a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run with precision, consistency, and efficiency. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of production scheduling and planning, developing detailed schedules, managing key resources, and working closely with cross‑functional teams to meet production targets. The Production Planner is essential in optimizing productivity, minimizing downtime, and maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
In addition, this role is instrumental in identifying bottlenecks across the production workflow and implementing practical solutions that support continuous improvement and overall operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and on‑time delivery
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, and other departments to align production plans with operational needs
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate raw material procurement to support uninterrupted production
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, workflow issues, and areas requiring corrective action
- Adjust production plans proactively in response to changes in demand, supply availability, or capacity constraints
- Communicate production goals, schedule updates, and changes to relevant teams and stakeholders
- Prepare, present, and maintain accurate production performance reports for leadership
- Conduct regular progress meetings with production teams to review performance and address issues
- Implement and utilize production planning software, tools, and systems to enhance scheduling accuracy and visibility
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to optimize efficiency, reduce downtime, and streamline processes
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely shipment of finished products to customers
- Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning or a similar manufacturing-focused role (required)
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and recommend effective solutions
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with proven skill in prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to collaborate across departments and guide teams effectively
- Proficiency with data analysis tools, planning software, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work under pressure while consistently meeting tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in planning and reporting
- A continuous improvement mindset, focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and cost‑effective planning
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve shared goals
- Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
