**** Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a
** Composite Technician
** I to join our team in Mobile, AL. This position will self inspect work, finished parts, and components as required. Maintain written records and work logs in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA);

European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Transport Canada (TCAA) requirements.

** Your working environment:
** Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus' strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

** Your challenges:
*** Ability to learn to read and interpret all common and accepted Blueprint/drawings types.
* Performs composite repairs (as directed) related to molds, wet and prepreg layup, re-work/repair of existing structures.
* Self-Inspects Parts and Components where applicable.
* Ability to use all related measuring devices/tools to ensure adherence to requested part/component documentation.
* Adherence to various policies regarding accurate recording of completed work and work-in-progress.
* Housekeeping, Assistance with lifting/pushing/pulling, etc.
* Maintain acceptable/normal levels of On-hand stock quantities.
** Your boarding pass:
*** High School Diploma or equivalent
* Some form of Technical/Professional/Vocational Training in the Composites field (apprenticeship, institutional training, etc.)
* Three (3)+ years of hands-on experience with Aerospace or Equivalent Composites(Shipyard, Supplier, Etc.)
