Goebel is seeking a skilled and motivated Wood Finisher to join our growing team. As a Wood Finisher at Goebel, you’ll work in a dynamic setting that offers new challenges every day and the opportunity to grow within an organization committed to your success.

• Prepare and finish wood and metal products using various techniques
• Work with a variety of finishes to achieve high quality results
• Perform touch up and repairs
• Help maintain and perform maintenance on finishing equipment
• Assist with formulating stains, dyes and pigments
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.

• Handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and urgency
• Experience in a wood or metal finishing environment
• Experience with sanding and painting using lacquer, urethane, waterborne, and polyester finishes
• Experience painting with a variety of spray equipment
• Attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of measuring and calculating
• Knowledge of fixture assembly and construction
• Ability to read construction and assembly drawings
• Understand and meet Client quality expectations
• Work in accordance with all Company and regulatory safety requirements
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

• Occasional (1–10%):
  Sitting, crouching, climbing (stairs/ladders/forklift), balancing
• Infrequent to Moderate (11–33%):
  Bending/stooping, twisting, reaching overhead
• Frequent (34–66%):
  Walking, pushing/pulling, reaching forward and low-level
• Constant (67–100%):
  Standing

• Rare (1–5%): 75–100 lbs.+ (team or assisted lifts only)
• Occasional (6–33%): 25–74 lbs.
• Frequent (34–66%):
  Up to 24 lbs.
