Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in attention to detail, and wants to build a career in aerospace manufacturing company. The quality of the finished surface begins with preparation, and every stage, from sanding, filling all imperfection and preparing through final coat. You will be working with antenna products made from various material (fiberglass, aluminum, metal) using handheld sanding equipment.

No experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

• Mask using proper protective tape to mask and unmask per work instruction.
• Sand using proper equipment (Da or dotco sanding equipment) and appropriate sandpaper grit according surface preparation
• Fill, mix and apply various sealants and adhesives and ensure integrity per work instruction (process standards)
• Observe industry best practices for FOD, 5S, and material handling controls.
• Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPE
• Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing principles within an environment of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
• Takes measures to ensure item is properly coated and meets surface protection requirements
• Read and understand detailed blueprints and operation sheets
• Exceptional organizational skills & ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast- paced, flexible production environment
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.

• Strong communication skills
• Basic computer navigation skills
• Autobody repair experience

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York (Greater NYC. area) is $18.99 MIN - $35.34 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
