Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Mechanic. This position will require overtime and on-call responsibilities. You will report directly to our Director of Operations.
** Responsibilities and Duties
*** Testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Performing adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment
* Installing and upgrading new and current equipment
* Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basis
* Troubleshoot and repair factory equipment and CNC equipment
* Read and follow blueprints, drawings and schematics
* Assisting with other duties, assignments and projects as required## Qualifications
* Two years related experience
* Strong mechanical and electrical abilities, manufacturing experience and understanding of safety and environmental practices
* Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
* Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
* Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
* Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed

* PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*** Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
* Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Familiar with manufacturing processes and machining equipment
* Machine tool experience including major upgrades, revisions and installations both mechanically and with control systems
