Ceramic Coating Installer

The Ceramic Coating Installer is responsible for full paint correction and ceramic coating application, from wash and decontamination through polishing, panel wipe-down, and coating cure. This role requires a steady hand, an eye for paint defects, and strict attention to the coating manufacturer’s application process.

• Perform full vehicle wash, decontamination (clay/iron removal), and paint inspection before correction work begins.
• Carry out single or multi-stage paint correction using rotary/DA polishers to remove swirls, scratches, and oxidation.
• Apply ceramic coating (Feynlab, Ceramic Pro, or SPS Graphene per job spec) to exterior panels, wheels, and glass as scoped.
• Control environment conditions (temperature, humidity, dust) in the coating bay during application and cure.
• Document paint condition with before/after photos for every correction and coating job.
• Inspect cured coating for high spots, streaking, or missed panels before vehicle release.
• Advise customers at pickup on proper aftercare and maintenance wash routine.
• Keep polishing pads, compounds, and coating supplies organized and properly stored.
• Respirator/ventilation protocol must be followed any time coating product is being applied.
• No coating is applied to a panel that hasn’t passed the paint correction inspection step.
• Coating bay must remain closed off and dust-free during application and cure windows.
• Before/after photos are mandatory documentation for every job — no exceptions.
• Chemicals and coating products must be stored and labeled per manufacturer safety guidelines.

• Paint correction defect-removal rate meeting shop quality standard (visual inspection under lighting).
• Coating comeback rate (streaking, high spots, early failure): under 2%.
• Average job cycle time within shop benchmark for coating package tier.
• Before/after documentation completion rate: 100% of jobs.
• Customer satisfaction score on coated vehicles: 4.8+ average.
