Laundry Production Associate - Wash Aisle Operator

Shifts Available: 1st Shift and 2nd Shift
Location: Capitol Heights, MD 20743
Pay Rate: $16.30 per hour
Classification: Non-Exempt, Hourly

We're hiring Laundry Production Associates (Wash Aisle Operators) for a commercial laundry operation serving hospitality and commercial clients throughout the region. This position is responsible for loading and unloading commercial washers and dryers while helping maintain a safe and efficient production flow.

As a Laundry Production Associate - Wash Aisle Operator, you will load and unload commercial washers and dryers, transfer damp linens between machines, and help keep laundry production moving efficiently. This is one of the most physically demanding positions on the production floor and requires strength, stamina, and reliable attendance.

1st Shift: Start between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM

2nd Shift: Start between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM

• Load soiled linens into commercial washers
• Unload clean, damp linens from washers
• Transfer damp sheets and towels from washers to dryers
• Unload dried linens from dryers
• Operate machines according to production and safety procedures
• Keep the wash aisle clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Report machine malfunctions, jams, or safety concerns immediately
• Follow all PPE, safety, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work at a steady, fast pace throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, pull, and move damp linens throughout the workday
• Ability to work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced production environment

• Previous experience in commercial laundry, warehouse, manufacturing, or production environments
• Experience operating industrial equipment

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pulling, and loading of damp sheets and towels
• Continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping
• Work performed around operating washers and dryers
• Hot, humid, and noisy production environment
• Required use of personal protective equipment
• Position requires significant physical strength and stamina throughout the shift

• Drug Screen Required
