Job Description
ROLE

SUMMARY:

Brand Campaign Team II

As a member of the Brand Campaign Team, your work serves as an example and quality bar to Brand Campaign Team I members. In addition to the expectations of a Brand Campaign Team I member, you are highly proficient in all aspects of execution and are able to reactively problem-solve independently or with minimal oversight. You can communicate comfortably with clients to handle requests/issues of low to medium concern and difficulty.

In this role, you leverage your autonomy to create work that drives impact and results.

WHO THRIVES AT THIRTEENTH

Social media is second nature to you. You live in the creator economy, are a short-form video savant, and never stop learning new platforms and formats. You know the business of creators and digital talent, and you read culture as fluently as you read a brief. You’re hyper-organized and take real pride in detail and accuracy. You’re a clear, warm, professional communicator with clients, talent, managers, and vendors alike.

You take ownership of tasks, and you’d rather try, occasionally miss, and learn than wait to be told.

You hold a high bar for your own work and give and take direct feedback without ego. You have a natural inclination to take work further than asked or expected, and your expertise helps you become a genuine extension of the brands you work on rather than a vendor to them. You thrive on autonomy: clear ownership, room to chase the problems you find interesting, and you value a team that aims to give you the best and expects your best in return.

STRUCTURE AND VALUES

Thirteenth operates from a structure inspired by flat-organization principles. Every team member, regardless of tenure of experience, is capable of contributing high-impact work. We believe the best work is inspired and quickly executed, not excessively dictated.

We believe that, in order to do this successfully, ownership of tasks and decision rights must be clearly outlined and stated to allow high-performing autonomous individuals and teams the freedom to operate and excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client and relationship

  • Assist (and in some cases lead) the day-to-day client communications; support the team in keeping clients informed and well-served
  • Immerse yourself in each client's brand, voice, guidelines, goals, online discourse. Demonstrate the fluency and expertise that strengthens the full workflow
  • Surface potential issues early alongside your proposed solution, so the team can manage client expectations proactively
  • Build and maintain relationships clients value: be someone they trust, like working with, and enjoy hearing from
  • Respond to client requests and questions promptly

Brief and approach

  • Read and internalize every client brief thoroughly before any campaign work begins. Identify gaps, ambiguities, and unstated assumptions that need clarity prior to moving forward
  • Create briefs when the client doesn't provide one, capturing campaign objective, messaging, CTAs, do's and don'ts, and brand guidelines
  • Develop and present creator and platform recommendations grounded in strategic rationale — bring a point of view, not just a list
  • Escalate high-stakes strategic calls before committing; own the execution once direction is set

Creator sourcing and vetting

  • Research, compile, and vet creator sourcing lists aligned with campaign goals, brand fit, platform strategy, and casting guidelines
  • Set the criteria, shape the roster, and make the…
