Social Media Manager

Elite Hockey HQ is looking for a Social Media Manager to grow and engage its community of hockey athletes, coaches, and teams across social platforms. This role will own the day-to-day voice of the brand online, translating the company's training programs, skill content, and athlete-facing tools into content that resonates with players and parents at every level of the game.

• Plan, create, and publish a consistent content calendar across platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, X, and Facebook
• Develop short-form video and static content that highlights training programs, skill work, and product features
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and grow community interaction across channels
• Track performance metrics and report on what content drives growth, engagement, and sign-ups
• Collaborate with the broader team to align social content with product launches, promotions, and season timing
• Stay current on social platform trends and adapt content formats to maximize reach

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand, company, or organization
• Strong writing and visual storytelling skills, with an eye for what performs on each platform
• Comfort with short-form video creation and basic editing tools
• Ability to work independently, manage a content calendar, and hit publishing deadlines
• Data-driven mindset with experience using platform analytics to inform content decisions
• Excellent communication skills and attention to brand voice and tone

• Familiarity with or interest in hockey or competitive youth/junior sports
• Experience running paid social campaigns
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools)
