Community Impact Ambassador

Good Intentions Foundation is committed to strengthening communities by providing essential resources that foster sustainability and growth. Our mission is to ensure access to basic necessities, educational tools, wellness resources, and wraparound services that empower individuals and families to thrive. Through a variety of programs, we support people of all ages, genders, races, and socioeconomic statuses—feeding, healing, sheltering, educating, inspiring, and nurturing.

Our goal is to equip community members with the resources and support they need to achieve their aspirations.

Good Intentions Foundation is seeking a Community Impact Ambassador to support our outreach initiatives in Prince George’s County, MD. This is a part-time, on-site role focused on engaging with community members, coordinating programs, and connecting individuals with essential resources and wraparound services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community service and capable of organizing impactful events, collaborating with local organizations, and promoting wellness and educational initiatives.

Additionally, the ambassador will play a key role in gathering community feedback to enhance program effectiveness.

Engage with community members to assess needs and connect them with essential resources, wraparound services, and wellness programs.

Plan, coordinate, and execute community programs and events that support holistic well-being.

Establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations, service providers, and stakeholders.

Distribute educational materials and promote wellness initiatives, financial literacy, and social support services.

Gather community feedback and report on program impact to enhance future initiatives.

Assist in outreach efforts, including social media engagement and event promotion.

Experience in community outreach, engagement, or program coordination.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Knowledge of community health, educational resources, wellness initiatives, and wraparound services.

Event planning and coordination experience.

Experience as a Community Health Worker or in a similar role is a plus.

Prior experience in a nonprofit or community-based organization is preferred.

Education Requirement: High school diploma or GED required. Pursuing a college degree or holding a bachelor's degree in any field is strongly preferred.
