Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring a KY or compact RN license and acute care experience.

• Position is in a hospital setting on a 25-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Patient ratio is generally 1:5
• Night shift hours are 19:00-07:30
• Work schedule is a 36/48 hour weekly rotation
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• No local candidates accepted within the 100-mile radius
• Travel pairs are not allowed unless exceptional circumstances on the unit
• Ratios may fluctuate with census and staffing changes

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of current acute hospital experience
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
