Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a fast-paced 25-bed unit, requiring a KY or compact RN license and strong Med/Surg/Tele skills.

• Work in a 25-bed Med/Surg Tele unit providing care to inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients
• Day shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule, from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No on-call hours or floating to other units required
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• CPSI EMR system used; experience preferred but not required
• Self-scheduling is available
• Care for a diverse patient population including observation and swing bed patients
• First-time travelers and local candidates are welcome at the same rate
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Day shift role with every other weekend
• No requirement to float to other units
• Documented copy of driver’s license and SSN needed for consideration

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required; 3 years preferred
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Two professional references required for consideration
