Child Resource Connect is looking for a Home Visiting Nurse to join our new and growing program for families with newborns. Family Connects Prince George’s, an evidence-based nurse home visiting program developed to support families as they welcome new babies into their homes, is seeking a Home Visiting Nurse. Extensive training and supervision are provided.
Requirements- A Bachelor’s Degree with current RN license, or a BA in another field with current RN licensure, or an A.S. degree with State Level RN, and at least one year of nursing experience.
- Fluent in written and verbal English and Spanish, highly desired
- Must be a current licensed registered nurse with knowledge of neonatal and/or maternal post-partum assessment.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills are required, as well as a passion to work with culturally diverse families and colleagues.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to use personal vehicle to conduct home visits. Mileage is reimbursed at the current rate as determined by the IRS.

Each year the Resource Center provides family support services to over 1,500 families and training to over 2,000 childcare providers, parents and human services workers potentially touching the lives of nearly half a million children since 1990. They do this through home visits, child development education, links to community services, and adult education.
