** Hourly Pay Range:**$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
** Position Highlights:*
* * Position: RN, Cardiac Imaging

* Location:

Elmhurst Hospital
* Part Time, 32 hours per week
* Day shift with a rotating schedule, typically Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
* Position includes on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend coverage.

* What you will do:

*
* * Perform stress testing.
* Conduct patient assessment and collect health data involving the patient, family and other healthcare providers.
* Develop and communicate an individualized plan of care, evaluate patient progress and document patient health data, interventions and communications.
* Provide assistance to technical staff with injection of contrast, venipuncture, administration of medications, oxygen therapy and IV management.
* Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessed learning needs.
* Participate in performance improvement activities and nursing research and remain current on research and practice trends in cardiac diagnostic testing through professional networking, ongoing education and self-directed learning.
* Support staff in using research and providing evidence-based care and contribute to the professional development and clinical education of peers, students and other healthcare providers.
* Comply with HIPAA regulations and assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.

Nursing Bachelor’s Degree preferred
* Certification: BLS, ACLS

* Experience:

Cardiac Imaging
* Unique or Preferred

Skills:

Solid Critical thinking skills, Prior Stress testing experience preferred
