The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long-term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence,preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

We are looking for self-motivated, energetic Certified Nurse Aides who possess the skills and desire to workas a preceptor for Nurse Aides and Patient Aides and to provide restorative nursing care and education to our residents in techniques to maintain or improve with activities of daily living.

We offer flexible scheduling and holiday, weekend and shift premiums.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating the work of Nurse Aides and Patient Aides.
• Serve as a liaison between licensed and sub-professional staff.
• Assist residents with personal and nursing care needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Must have two years of experience as a Nurse Aide State Registered.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must possess current registration with the Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry as administered by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
