3x12s/ Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Strong Physician and Administrative Support
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Responsible for reviewing clinical documentation from referrals and accepting patients.
- Works in a fast-paced environment with the ability to gather information and make a determination in less than 15 minutes.
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatments.
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
Applicants should have a current state RN license. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include:
- Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Handle With Care certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Two years of Behavioral Health/ Psych experience required.
