UPMC Trinity is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused full time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy Emergency Department (ED) on the night shift
. As an Emergency Department RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients experiencing acute illness, injury, and medical emergencies. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members, you will provide expert clinical assessment, treatment, education, and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients.
  • Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritization, and triage of emergent and non-emergent conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and coordinate patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and intervene appropriately using sound clinical judgment.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established standards of care.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
