** Position Summary
** Under the direction of the Chief Clinic Officer, the Clinic Director is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and directing all functions of the Lake City Clinic. This position provides leadership for nursing staff, oversees clinic operations and budgets, ensures compliance with Rural Health Clinic and regulatory requirements, and drives quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and operational effectiveness.
** Responsibilities
* ** Provide leadership and oversight for all clinical and business operations of the Lake City Clinic
* Direct, supervise, coach, and support nursing staff.
* Develop staffing plans, conduct performance evaluations, and manage personnel actions
* Recruit, interview, hire, orient, and train clinic employees
* Monitor clinic workflows and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and patient experience
* Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
* Ensure compliance with Rural Health Clinic (RHC), HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements
* Prepare, monitor, and manage departmental operating and capital budgets
* Serve as the primary contact for patient concerns and provider-related issues
* Oversee quality improvement initiatives and submit required reports to organizational committees
* Collaborate with providers, administration, and other departments to enhance clinic services
* Monitor clinic facilities, equipment, supplies, and resources to promote safety and operational excellence
** Requirements
* ** Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
* Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
* Current BLS certification
* Previous management or leadership experience preferred
* Previous clinic, ambulatory care, or rural healthcare experience preferred
