Job TitleRegistered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel)
LocationLebanon, KY | Acute Care
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary, independent Labor & Delivery nurse on night shift, providing direct patient care to obstetric, gynecologic, and newborn populations
- Provide care across Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, and Level 1 Newborn Nursery settings
- Follow patient staffing ratios per AWHONN Staffing Standards
- Rotate call during low-census periods as required
- Float to other units during high-volume periods when L&D census is low
- Document and manage patient care using Meditech and Centricity EHR systems
- Active RN licensure valid to practice in Kentucky
- BLS certification required prior to start
- ACLS certification required prior to start
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required prior to start
- NRP certification required prior to start
- STABLE certification required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
- Postpartum nursing experience
- Level 1 Newborn Nursery experience
- Familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments including Antepartum and Postpartum care
- Join a well-established community hospital with a dedicated Women's Services unit serving an obstetric, gynecologic, and newborn patient population
- Weekend hours expected every other weekend or as needed, with call rotation offering schedule variety
