* * The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an integral member of the health care team, providing compassionate, individualized patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or provider. The LPN performs designated elements of patient care and supports the clinical team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients.  ## Principal Duties and Responsibilities  
* Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
* Assists the registered nurse and providers with the delivery of individualized patient care.
* Performs assigned clinical and patient care activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
* Assists with maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
* Documents patient care and clinical information accurately and timely.
* Communicates effectively with patients, families, providers, and members of the health care team.
* Supports the overall operations of the vascular surgery clinic and contributes to a positive patient experience.
* Performs other duties as assigned.  ##

Minimum Education , Experience, Training, and

Licensure/Certification s/Registrations Required  
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
* Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
* Clinic experience preferred.
* Basic computer skills preferred.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with other advanced training as appropriate.  ###
