School Nurse Substitute; RN​/LPN

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substitute Nurse to provide temporary nursing services in various educational and healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to different environments. This role is essential in ensuring that students and patients receive quality care in the absence of regular nursing staff.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess the health status of students or patients, documenting findings accurately.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed, following established protocols.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and healthcare team members regarding health concerns and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the implementation of health education programs and preventive measures.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for students and patients.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Adapt to various school or healthcare settings, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism.
- Uphold ethical standards and demonstrate respect for diversity in the workplace.

Requirements
- Valid WA state nursing license (LPN or RN)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous nursing experience in a school or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to different environments.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
