Our hospital provides comprehensive care across a wide range of disciplines, including internal medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation.
Our Internal Medicine department is led by a board-certified veterinary internist (DACVIM), and our Surgery department features a board-certified small animal surgeon (DACVS) to deliver truly collaborative and specialized care.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Small Animal Veterinary Dermatologist to join our growing team of specialists. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment with a strong support team and access to advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about dermatology, client communication, and providing high-quality, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions in small animals, including allergic, autoimmune, infectious, and parasitic diseases.
- Perform dermatologic procedures such as skin scrapings, cytologies, biopsies, and allergy testing (intradermal or serum-based).
- Conduct video otoscopy and deep ear flushes as needed.
- Provide dermatologic consultations for in-house referrals and external clients.
- Collaborate with referring veterinarians and in-house specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medication use, and long-term management strategies.
- Experience with or interest in teaching and mentoring support staff or interns
- Familiarity with advanced dermatologic diagnostics and treatment protocols
- Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively with other specialists
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Board certification or residency training in Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD or ECVD)
- Active veterinary license in [Insert State] or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and client service
