Chapin Pet Lodge is seeking reliable and compassionate Kennel Technicians to join our team. This role is essential in providing daily care for boarding pets while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Ideal candidates are hardworking, attentive, and enjoy working with animals.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pet boarding area
- Feed and provide fresh water to dogs and cats
- Walk dogs and provide playtime activities
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns
- Administer medications as directed
- Other tasks as assigned
- Morning Shift: 7:15 AM – 1:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Hours may vary based on number of pets
- Weekend and holiday availability required!
- Previous experience with animals is a preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a physically active environment
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
This position involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working both indoors and outdoors.
