As a Veterinary Assistant at our clinic, you won’t just be standing on the sidelines. You will be actively involved in the daily care of our patients, helping us provide honest, cost-conscious, and compassionate Miami-Dade pet care.

• Compassionate Patient Handling: Assist Dr. Baquero and our veterinary technicians with safe, low-stress animal restraint during exams, treatments, and blood draws.
• Clinical Support: Prepare examination rooms and surgical equipment, ensuring everything is sterile, organized, and ready for patient care.
• Hospitalized Patient Care: Monitor the comfort, behavior, and recovery status of hospitalized pets or those waking up from anesthesia, keeping their resting areas clean and comfortable.
• Laboratory & Diagnostic Prep: Assist with basic in-house lab work, prepare samples, and help set up digital radiographs.
• Client Connection: Help welcome clients and educate pet parents on basic care plans, post-operative instructions, and keeping local South Florida pests like fleas and heartworms at bay.
