Established in 1974 and AAHA-accredited, Barton Heights Veterinary Hospital holds the distinction of being the only veterinary hospital in the Stroudsburg and Pocono region open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — making it a true cornerstone of emergency and critical care for the community. Beyond emergency services, the team offers an impressive breadth of specialty services including cardiology, feline hyperthyroid treatment, physical rehabilitation, exotic pet care, and medical boarding, all under one roof.

• Gain experience across General Practice, Emergency, Urgent Care, and Exotics.
• We are committed to developing our team and promoting from within. We are willing to train motivated Care Coordinators who are interested in veterinary medicine to become Veterinary Assistants, with additional opportunities for growth based on the individual's skills and career goals. • Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
