Best Friends Fur-Ever provides professional dog daycare, boarding, and grooming services in a safe, structured, and enriching environment focused on canine wellness and positive care. We are seeking dependable, energetic, and compassionate Dog Handlers to join our Resort Operations team. In this hands-on role, you will supervise dog playgroups, ensure safe social interactions, provide enrichment activities, monitor canine health and behavior, and maintain a clean and organized facility.

• Supervise structured dog playgroups and monitor behavior to ensure safe interactions.
• Use positive reinforcement and proper handling techniques to support healthy play and socialization.
• Observe dogs for signs of stress, illness, injury, or fatigue and report concerns promptly.
• Provide individualized care including feeding, enrichment, medication administration, and kennel support.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, equipment, and common spaces.
• Maintain accurate care, feeding, and behavior records.
• Communicate professionally with team members and pet parents.
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and animal care procedures.
• Assist with additional operational duties as needed.

• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain physically active throughout shifts.
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and mobile software systems.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Experience in dog daycare, boarding, grooming, training, veterinary, rescue, or related animal care environments.
• Knowledge of canine behavior and enrichment techniques.
• Pet First Aid and/or CPR certification.

Typical shifts may include:

• 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
