We are actively searching for a
** Part-Time Veterinary Assistant
** to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience as a Veterinary Assistant and Saturday availability.  
** Qualifications
* ** Experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
* Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a clinical environment.
* Reliable and dependable.
** Responsibilities
* ** Assist the veterinary team with patient restraint, handling, and treatment
* Prepare exam rooms and patients for appointments
* Obtain and record patient weights and basic vital signs
* Assist with collecting and preparing laboratory samples
* Prepare and maintain surgical and treatment areas
* Assist with surgical and dental procedures as directed
* Monitor and care for patients before, during, and after procedures
* Clean, disinfect, and maintain kennels, treatment areas, and equipment
* Administer medications and treatments as directed and within applicable scope of practice
* Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic procedures
* Maintain accurate and timely patient records
* Stock and maintain clinical supplies and equipment
* Communicate patient updates and concerns to the veterinary team  
** Compensation $20/$24/hr, depending on experience.*
